The Wembley Central Masjid app is published on behalf of Wembley Central Masjid (registered charity no. 285630), 35-37 Ealing Road, Wembley, HA0 4AE, United Kingdom. The app is built and maintained by Afom Solutions. This policy explains what information the app handles.
The app does not ask you to register or sign in, and it does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
If you allow notifications, the app registers an anonymous push token with OneSignal (our notification delivery provider) so we can send prayer-time changes, event reminders, and stadium event-day alerts. Your notification topic preferences (on/off switches) are stored with that anonymous token. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app or in your phone’s settings. See OneSignal’s privacy policy.
The Qibla screen may ask for your device’s location to compute the Qibla direction from where you are. This calculation happens entirely on your device — your location is never transmitted, stored, or shared. If you decline, the compass uses the Masjid’s own location instead.
If the app crashes, a technical report (device model, operating system version, and what the app was doing) is sent to Sentry so we can fix the problem. Crash reports do not include your identity or precise location.
We collect anonymous usage statistics (such as which screens are opened) via PostHog, hosted in the EU, to understand which features serve the community. These statistics are not linked to your identity.
We do not sell data. We do not share data with anyone beyond the service providers named above, who process it solely to operate the app.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
